When I worked for Bexar County we shitcanned Wakenhut after their juvenile detention officers allowed a child to hang himself in a cell.. with bars. The entire operation was unacceptable. Too many incentives exist for private prisons and jails to do the wrong thing to protect their cash cow. America needs to end this nightmare now.

Florida now has the “model concentration camp” and they plan to do more! DeSantis is trying to remove info, required by law to be publicly available, about the contractors.
Investigative reporter Jason Garcia has accessed info on some of the detailed purchasing orders. A quick search and I found contact info for the top six companies. Send them a short email to make a comment about them profiting off this atrocity. Takes minutes!
I’ll let you compose your own note, but once you’ve written it once you can copy and paste it for all the companies. I’m simply going to tell them that their company will forever be known for aiding and abetting torture—shame on them.
