Senate Bill 1334, which passed its committee hearing 9-5, is problematic. Chair Erin Grall wants to make the bill -- if it passes -- become law in July, which coincidentally precedes the November mid-term elections. This looks like a recipe for a return to the chaos of 2000. Also, since the MAGA party in Congress is considering similar legislation, shouldn't the Florida Legislature defer to DC?
BTW: Grall continues to maintain that Sharia law is now being implemented in the US. No such thing has been documented, but she continues to publicly announce the opposite.
