In addition to the $250,000+ homestead exemption, the amendment would also impose a 5 percent annual assessment growth cap on all non-homestead property.
This is why you need to vote out every republican in Florida because they have allowed DeSantis to break many laws and have voted for millions of our dollars to be wasted so he can make millionaires happy and his kick back used to be campaign money and now that he will be out of POWER in November. or, another way of asking the question, is there no way that spending could be reduced without reducing quality of service?
Or yet another way, What new services have been added with this additional money and / or why has the cost of existing services outstripped the rate of inflation plus population growth?

The Dems would have to impeach him but they are a super, small, tiny minority. That said - I wish they would at least make of outrage???
In the City of West Palm Beach, commercial property owners are well represented by highly skilled lobbyists such as Cornerstone Solutions and Rick Asnani affiliated entities. The County has a Tallahasee lobbyistl axpayers do not. https://miamiindependent.com/politics/2023/09/21/a-highly-partisan-democrat-political-consulting-firm-is-deeply-embedded-in-the-palm-beach-county-supervisor-of-elections/
