Yes kindergarten is an ongoing expense, and think of all the schools they could have updated with that quarter of a billion dollars, for one thing. I've lived literally all over the US and nowhere (except in the other bottom states) have I seen so much disrespect and lack of empathy for children as I have in Florida. I don't have children myself and it seems so basic and human that if we don't as a society pay heed to and take care of the needs of children first, we aren't doing anything right.
