Love to see this! I live in Sarasota and feel like developers have a lot of influence in this town too so I’m glad to see Manatee do this.

Great read, Jason ! To note, Moms for Liberty was founded by Ziegler in Sarasota, Tiffany Justice in Indian River County, and Tina Descovich in Brevard Co. Descovich was the school board member who was ousted by Dem Jennifer Jenkins. The GOP then gerrymandered Jennifer out of her seat ,with her term ending this year. Some may remember the abuse (it went viral) she suffered at the hands of Rep Randy Fine and his followers.Jennifer is one fearless Dem warrior!

I appreciated Fl Rep Wasserman Shultz on day 3 of the DNC highlighting that for Floridians,”Project 2025 isn’t just a threat, it’s a reality that we battle every single day.”

Floridians are fighting back! GOTV !! ✍️🚶‍♀️💲📲🪧

Finally people realize that they need to vote and if they can get involved it matters. The Moms for Liberty, the takeover of hate in education is appalling. Wake up people and DO SOMETHING!!!

Ignore the people talking about woke,or trying to get you to ignore real history, calling people names.. fear mongering and using propaganda like Desantis did on tik tok and made a half truth statement about selling your house and breadlines. Seriously voters are smart…

We need a 32 hour work week so that we have time to study and take back democracy.

With stunts like this from Ron's office you can bet that in the next 2 years he will try to sell out other major projects to the highest contributing donor. He's got nothing to lose. We all know that a Presidential run for him will have the effects of a waterlogged house. Throw out the trash and try to recover. Keep your eyes peeled and let's DO SOMETHING!

We can take back Florida. And, we need a 32 hour work week so that we have time to study and go to meetings.

I'm tried of paying for vouchers. I opposed it at the beginning. It's NOT about choice - its about profit.

To that point about unseating developer backed commissioners is this latest bad idea hatched by FLDEP to turn state parks into some developers wet dream. Certainly the FLDEP didn't conjure up this plan themselves rather it must be a Desantis Donor or developer who was owed a favor. So which one is it?

Hell yeah!!!!!

Hoping Flagler County does it. The city is annexing county land for new houses and the county is trying to develop what’s left. It’s so bad they don’t even have money to fix the crumbling infrastructure.

DeSantis governors for about 33% of Floridians. The rest, he feels can go to hell. Floridians, how much longer are you going to sit on your couches and complain or on the checkout line of the states' most expensive grocer, Publix before you do anything? Bryan Griffin and Jeremy Redfern are two of the most despicable men next to Ron. The must find it funny to belittle people who are not like them. They are the male equivalent of Christina (Pushaw) Pushface. Or perhaps the press for which they get a good laugh while projecting the Republican cruelty on the populous. These results show that when you do mobilize you can achieve great results. We just need to amp it up and start picking apart the Republican party and replacing it bit by bit. It can be done!! VOTE in every election and vote for wholesale change. Don't let developers win!!

Has nothing to do with Ron DeSantis. It has to do with your realtors that get involved with politics to line their own pockets. Fact check. We have in our county too. Realtor sold us out when elected and took agricultural land that was his, changed to residential and lined his pockets that its coming out. Don't blame our governor.

Folds of Honor is the group behind the FLDEP idea to overrun Florida State Parks with golf courses, pickleball courts and other sanctuary ruining ideas. The non-profit with ties to Jack Nicklaus is now going by the name "American Dunes". Sen. Gayle Harrell (81 yrs old) was approached with the idea but she did say "not in the state parks area". Furthermore the FLDEP, in sneaky Florida government ways, opened up ONE public input meeting day for ONE hour covering the 9 state parks during a WORK DAY FOR MOST IF NOT ALL INTERESTED PEOPLE. Typical Florida "we're gonna stick it to you" type of bravado.

According to other reports by a savvy journalist, Desantis told the FLDEP to rush it through so "nobody will notice". So, if you're mad enough, flood his office with calls and that's if the voicemail is working. Ron's office doesn't pickup the phone nor do they return calls unless you are a high rolling donor, say Mori Hosseini or Ken Griffin.
