Unbelievable. Keep spreading the message.

This will encourage delinquency and less high school graduates. The Governor and his sycophants are well aware of the studies that show children will sustain injuries and possibly deaths.

This trend in red states is gaining steam. In some states injured children cannot sue their employers.

In the Midwest employers are paying wages to child workers (cleaning blades in slaughterhouses) at 1/3 the prevailing wage paid to adults. I found it interesting there was no mention of a pay scale in the Floridian wish list.

So over this BS.

VOTERS GET WHAT THEY ASKED FOR.

We need to call Linda Chaney in the Florida House or email her and tell her how parents feel when Republicans exploit their kids. Do it now, do it today!

I'm sick to my stomach after eating Ice Cream and reading the real motive of Dick (Douche) Uihlein. Linda Chaney ought to be ashamed of herself and worse is if her kids know what she is doing. We are going backwards as a nation if we let the Donor Republicans run this country. With passage of this bill, if more kids work longer hours, their grades will suffer to the point where there is no college or hope of making it. The drop out rate also will increase, that is a fact. This nonsense talking point of "learning the value of money" is DISGUSTING!

Once again, Democrats ......get off your couches and VOTE. This is what you get when you stay home because you don't think your vote means anything.

As one of Chaney’s constituents, unfortunately, I feel compelled to point out that due to gerrymandering, her district was reconfigured to include all the barrier islands off St. Petersburg (MAGA country) as well as a swathe of urban voters in St. Petersburg and Gulfport (Democrat dominated). There are very few school age children on the barrier islands whereas her St. Petersburg constituents - whose interests Chaney has never considered and with whom she has not once communicated in her term and a half - include numerous schoolchildren. This is a prime example of why Democrats in Florida and everywhere need to support good candidates for state legislature and for local office - and why Democrats also need to work on getting out the vote. In the last election, for example, in Chaney’s district, there were precincts in St. Petersburg where literally less than a dozen people voted. (Data available from Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections.) We will never be able to fight this type of egregious legislation without control of state legislatures - and we don’t even have a Democratic candidate yet running against Chaney in 2024.

Always so slanted. Maybe if the kids would work instead of jacking cars at night....

Sure this will create a slew of backlash since there is one way thinking on "Seeking Rents"
