State agencies and a publicly subsidized nonprofit are airing more TV ads in an estimated $16 million campaign to defeat amendments that would overturn an abortion ban and legalize marijuana.
Pity the Floridians who don’t get it that if your Big Guv out of Tallanasty is using tax-dollars to fund propaganda, it means it’s a Socialist State, not a democracy. Heed the warning of the Communism tour guide in Sofia, Bulgaria when I told him what’s going on in Florida: “It’s a Socialist State. Get out as quick as you can.” Glad I did!
Right behind you... socialism for the wealthy and keep the servants paying for and doing all the work while gaslighting the phrase "wages for sunshine"..
““DUI crashes increase in states with legalized marijuana — putting everyone at risk,” a male narrator claims in the spot, which began airing last month and which Amendment 3 supporters have blasted as “propaganda designed to …” is this even a true statement?
Okay - most of the comments on here seem to agree with each other. Yes, I do still support Nikki Fried (not happy about big sugar but there are many issues I do agree with her). The republicans are shredding our hard earned money we pay in taxes for their private religious escapades.
I had a few thoughts this past week. I know 3rd parties get pushed out by both the reps and dems BUT I'm also fed up.
I believe in paying my taxes and I believe in getting the best deal fo ray money. I believed we all had a
fair shot if we "worked hard". I can see now that was gaslighting but it doesn't have to be either.
We can have DEI and education for all (college or trade schools). We can be more tolerant and fair community.
Just check out what has happened in Colorado since legalizing cannabis, accidents are up, children are ingesting their parents edibles and bringing them into schools. What is the cost to the public in the long run? We must set up boundaries in life for the benefit of all.
Reading this garbage that Desantis does with taxpayer money is just unconscionable. I may not agree with Amendment 3 but will vote in spite of the GOP, phuck em'! Using taxpayer money is another dig. Every GOP member needs to be outed for their agreement to even give him the money. I'm just worried that these idiot Florida GOP voters only see the Guns and Abortion issue and don't realize that their GOP cronies are robbing them and stepping on them daily. Here's another: Institutional Land barrons stepping in to buy Hurricane ravaged land for pennies on the dollar. Therein creating more land for the wealthy vacation owners. Think Blackrock....
I wasn't happy with Florida long before DeSantis but after reading Jason's great reporting - I'm less happy (can't believe that's possible.............)
It takes a citizen initiative to make changes and with these party numskulls (both in some cases) it's less easy.
After November - does this group want to do something about it and start making the visits to legislative offices and organizing? Otherwise, I don't see much changing for Florida...
We have the most beautiful beaches. We have a beautiful states and they are destroying it one shovel at a time - or sometimes a bulldozer

And DeSantis ordered that communism be taught in Florida kindergarten. Where is Senator McCarthy when you need him?
lol - true.
🤡
He doesn’t care how much taxpayers money he spends. Look how much he stole for his failed presidential campaign.

What do you all think???

Oh nice. Now address guns.
