I want to vote for yes on 3 but I have to admit I am dismayed too. I can't afford to enter this business. The license fees and requirements keep out the little people while this corporation makes the $$ and hires employees for maybe.. what $15 an hour.

I will vote for it because DeSantis hates it so much but I'm fed up with the saying "trading wages for sunshine" I am also fed up with being the servant class and domestic help for tourists and 2nd homeowners. They can clean their own houses and do the laundry and cut the grass..

If you think what DeSantis is doing on the state level is bad, it should terrify you what the national ramifications could be. People need to know that lower level offices on the ballot might be what actually chooses our next president: not the popular vote, nor even the electoral college – but rather our next president could be chosen in a Trumpist electoral coup through a “contingent election.” Voting a COMPLETE ballot, and if you split your ticket to vote strategically for certain lower level offices is crucial to stopping it. See the article linked below with a Rachel Maddow clip on the subject, and know what you’re doing when you vote. A vote at the top of the ticket is not enough – independents and Republican cross-over voters, this goes especially for you. Share the article so that the 30% of voters who normally don’t vote a complete ballot will learn about the importance of doing so.
