Overbuilding is rampant in South Florida. Yet the local government that approves the development does not include affordable houses or apartments. So we have more traffic less greenspace( actually none) and road that are so congested the quality of life goes away!! Most people are not civic minded at all so govt runs the show… in the end we all suffer from it. The developers are billionaires that build these huge apartment buildings.. We will see how they keep it up or if they turn into crime laden areas?!

I'll add it again and again because I do not get tired of it. Our house insurance problems are also linked to housing and will contribute to further climate problems. No tourist goes unhoused in Florida.

Again William "Bill" Black, Phd, lawyer, former bank regulator - The Best Way to Rob a Bank is to Own One TheCon.tv no, I do not get anything from posting this. I just want Jamie Dimon in jail not having lunch with VP Harris.

Here's a Huff Post link too https://www.huffpost.com/entry/how-dare-doj-insult-hsbcs_b_3359786

Because, if we continue to destroy Central Florida in the name of "affordable housing". We are all going to lose - or the Earth will "fire" all us.

It's construction that's one if not the biggest contributor to the climate crisis. It wastes materials, fossil transport fuel etc. We must re-model not just re-use plastic bottles...

I'm up for a housing protest in Tally. Anyone else?
