Where are the people screaming in the streets??? We have become so complacent we just accept what's happening. Sickening.

It's not complacency. It's distraction. Everyone is so worried about who is gay and who isn't that they don't even know they are being crushed to death. They think bad ass legislators who wield assault rifles are going to save them!

Since I am having health problems, I have not been active in protests or campaigns in quite some time. However, the cities mentioned in the article may have named some groups that organized the rather large protests in the pictures. The Florida Democratic Party did not respond when I offered to help make phone calls or write postcards, etc. during the midterms. But they have new leadership, so hopefully that has changed. That's the best I can do for now.

Besides writing to legislators are there any groups you are aware of that are raising their voices together to address these bills?

I have a niece who is a school teacher in the Naples area who would like to connect with others who are against these bills.

So people already get paid more than the minimum and they are now saying companies don’t have to follow the minimum of locality, but the state. So no ones pay will change, what dumb article to drum up fud. I see a few hook, line and sinkers outraged already.
