I loved this podcast but the information just made me very sad for the state of Florida and our freedoms. The ballot initiative process had massive hurdles to get passed to begin with and now DeSantis wants to make it even harder for us to make changes in our state constitution. If the legislature and the Governor won't listen to the phone calls and the letters and the polls about how people feel about home insurance and abortion and legal weed we need this ballot initiative. And with the appointment of James U. to take over Moody's spot well that is just the cherry on top. I mean it already seemed like Ashley was willing and ready to defend anything and everything Ron DeSantis says or does. And now, his extremely loyal lapdog I mean chief of Staff is supposed to be unbiased in running the state attorneys office.

I cannot believe we just had an election and we voted all these people right back in and then some. And yes I mean the GOP. It does not seem like they are listening to the people of Florida. And I can understand the frustration at the Democratic party and the issues with Biden however we have been living with Ron DeSantis since 2018. It has NOT been the best in different areas. I will give the guy credit, he has done some ok things but in a lot of ways he has done things that, to me, are the EXACT same things he is accusing democrats of doing. Weaponizing the state government? Spreading false information and fake news? I hope that people are willing to have a more balanced government in the state. It's really hard to continue to blame democrats when there are very few elected in the state. And spending our tax dollars on stupid things. We need our tax dollars to help us not ship people to mexico

Because abortion rights are a HUGE issue but it's not the only one.

The problem with the Dems (nationally speaking) is that they stood for nothing and therefore had no message.

SO, now we have UWF directors telling women to not put off having babies for an education. Do they tell the boys to do that? How will the 18 year olds support a wife and kids on a tourist job salary?

Why is it that in 2025, men have it all but women are expected to choose and "balance".

ARrrrrrrgg..... really florida.. maybe many of you get what you deserve ....
