Anti-abortion state officials in Tallahassee are taking increasingly aggressive action to stop Amendment 4, a constitutional amendment that would overturn Florida's near-total abortion ban.
Republicans twist themselves into knots because they claim that taxpayer money will fund abortions. But here in Florida it is blatantly true that Florida taxpayers are now paying for the "Anti Abortion" ads on a public website managed by the state. Just thank God that Jason Garcia and Nate Monroe and other investigative journalists are out there uncovering the incessant bullshit that Republicans are responsible for. Without the deep digging we might never (trust me, never) have known this bullshit was happening. True to the word, when you sit your lazy ass down on the couch and never vote, this is the mess that you, as a registered voter are responsible for. So, tell your friends, family coworkers to make a change because this is just too much.
Now think about this, if we don't eliminate the super-majority in Florida and Ron has 2 years left, how much more damage can he do to us?
Agree, but it's more than just voting. We need a 32 hour work week and time friendly meetings with day care so that people can start attending local government. We should also have a full time 365 locals day in Tallahassee.
However, as I have found this year. It's difficult to get meeting notices, or speak at a meeting, or attend. That's by design to make it difficult.
I fully support Republicans on this; I defend no ablution of the prohibition on abortion in Florida. However, I like some of the content on this page. I think that people have to be responsible before sex, use protection and consequently don't transfer the pain of premature murder to the helpless fetus.
Sunshine law used to protect the public but Desantis is so crooked it is impossible to keep up. Jason Garcia should get a medal for helping get the news to the people. I have a decent representative but they are not able to do much because the republicans rule just like the idiot Mike Johnson in Congress and they use money to do investigations instead of WORKING for the people..
