I think GEO Group’s need for profit is the reason DeSantis un-democratically suspended State Attorney Monique Worrell and installed the unelected Andrew Bain. Its stock has been down, but now…. GEO Group needs prisoners to fill beds and make GEO Group investors like Michael Burry rich by profiting from the suffering of others.
This has the potential to cause higher banking fees for consumers just like the higher insurance rates Floridians already "enjoy". DeSantis is doing a reverse Robin Hood again.
