Thank you, Jason. Because of pre-emption and education policy - The State House and Senate control what happens locally. Tallahassee controls short-term Air B&B in our neighborhoods, Tallahassee controls what we can collect from developers that are not paying their fair share for growth, Tallahassee controls our local zoning and housing density, Tallahassee controls what is taught in our schools and what books our children can read. I hope the proposed pickleball courts in our State parks have spurred voters in Orlando and around the State to become informed so that we end the insanity of voting against our own interests.

What a dreadful political situation we have right now! Please join me in donating to good Dems who can win… like Lindsay Cross in Pinellas County!

And I'm going to look the Dems up on https://www.mobilize.us/ to see if there are volunteer opportunities I can do from St Augustine!

Everything in moderation— that includes power. Too much corrupts and is used to hide from the constituents. I good indicator is restrictions added to public record availability. A perfect measure of an imbalance of power. Florida is no longer the Sunshine State. There is a cloud of shame over public record and ethics rights of the people. Concentrating power in Tallahassee is NOT good for anyone.

In Florida kids can quit school with parent’s permission and sadly many parents let them!!

Even if you do not have children in school I believe we all want a educated child to become a good citizen or we get gangs and thugs that quit school and sell drugs and are the newest criminals.

When people retire here they tend to not care about politics unless it is their backyard… we need everyone to participate!! Our state has gone to the loons on the far religious right and it seeped into our school boards. So look closely at the candidates and I will not vote for any Moms for Liberty’s candidates..
